Benteler Automotive is expanding its U.S. manufacturing presence with a major new advanced production facility in the Grand Rapids region. This large-scale industrial development supports the company’s growing role in electric vehicle component manufacturing while contributing to continued economic investment in West Michigan’s advanced manufacturing sector.

Working alongside Lakewood Architecture, Megan Murray Interiors served as the interior design partner for the project, supporting the planning and execution of key workplace and employee-focused spaces within the new facility. The interior design approach balanced durability and functionality with a modern, welcoming environment for staff and visitors.

In addition to interior finish selection and planning, Megan Murray Interiors helped coordinate the furniture design and procurement process, ensuring that furnishings aligned with both Benteler’s operational needs and the overall architectural vision. Collaboration with project stakeholders, vendors, and the broader design team ensured consistency across administrative and support spaces while meeting budget, schedule, and performance requirements.
