West Coast Chamber of Commerce

The Michigan West Coast Chamber of Commerce has entered an exciting new chapter with the opening of its new headquarters in downtown Holland. The organization recently relocated its operations into the third floor of the Next Center, a growing regional hub designed to support business development, collaboration, and economic innovation across West Michigan.

The move reflects the Chamber’s continued investment in creating a more flexible and modern environment for its team, members, and community partners. By co-locating with other business-focused organizations, the new space strengthens opportunities for connection, programming, and shared resources in the heart of downtown Holland.

Working alongside Lakewood Architecture, Megan Murray Interiors served as the interior designer for the project, supporting the planning and execution of key workplace and member-facing spaces within the new headquarters. The design approach focused on creating a professional, welcoming setting that supports collaboration, meeting flexibility, and daily operations for the Chamber staff.

As part of the overall interior scope, Megan Murray Interiors also supported the coordination of the furniture design & procurement, working closely with project partners to select solutions that complemented the new workplace environment. This process helped ensure the furnishings enhanced both daily functionality and the Chamber’s member experience, while aligning with project goals for quality, comfort, and cohesion across the space.

This project provided an opportunity to contribute to a civic-focused workplace environment that reflects the Chamber’s mission of supporting growth, engagement, and long-term impact for the Holland and Zeeland business communities.
